Oaks Student Ministries

Righteous Oaks

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

We are the Student Ministry of Carlsbad First Assembly, and we believe God has called us to live with deep roots and unshakable faith.

Our youth services happen every Wednesday Night from 6:30pm–8:30pm—and if you’re looking for a place to belong... Welcome Home!

The time is NOW—to grow, to build, to prepare for the harvest. We believe we are part of the next chapter of God’s story: Acts 29.

NOW is the time to start digging your roots deep into Christ so you can stand strong through the storms of life. As your faith grows, you’ll become what God has designed you to be:
“oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor” (Isaiah 61:3, NIV).

This is our calling. This is our moment.
“Can’t you see? NOW is the time to respond to His favor! NOW is the day of salvation!” (2 Corinthians 6:2, TPT).

Come be a part of Oaks Student Ministries—where it all begins NOW.
At Oaks Student Ministries, we believe growth happens when we step out of our everyday routines and into the opportunities God gives us. That’s why we make space for experiences like Youth Camp, Called Camp, Fine Arts, and Mission Trips.
  • Youth Camp is a powerful time to get away from distractions and fully focus on God. Surrounded by worship, teaching, and friends, camp becomes a life-changing environment where God speaks and faith deepens.
  • Called Camp is designed to help students discover the unique calling God has placed on their lives. Whether it’s ministry, leadership, or simply learning to follow Jesus with boldness, Called Camp helps students take their next step.
  • Fine Arts gives students a chance to use their gifts—whether that’s music, drama, writing, or preaching—to glorify God. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a journey of creativity and growth that draws us closer to Him while sharpening our skills.
  • Mission Trips take us outside of our comfort zones and into the heart of God’s mission. Serving others and sharing the hope of Jesus allows us to see faith in action, building compassion and courage.

Each of these opportunities helps us grow—not just in talent or experiences—but in faith, purpose, and relationships. Together, we learn what it means to be the Church, strengthening our bond with one another while drawing closer to the God who leads us.

Grow roots deep in God, AND become an oak of righteousness—
planted to show off His glory (Isaiah 61:3).
